FAQsCAN i3 ROOF MOUNTS BE USED ON CLAY TILE ROOFS? No. The patented design is specific to installation on concrete tile roof systems. WHAT ARE THE MAIN DIFFERENCES BETWEEN CONCRETE AND CLAY ROOF TILES? Clay tiles are much more fragile than concrete and are less able to withstand walking on them. When installed, concrete tiles "interlock" with one another like a puzzle. Clay tiles typically require a visible bed of mortar sandwiches between adjoining tiles. This mortar is what holds the tiles together. Concrete tiles are much more prominent in building communities and are found principally across the Southwestern United States and Canada. IS IT NECESSARY TO WALK ON THE ROOF WHEN USING AN i3 MOUNT? Under most site conditions, walking on the roof will not be required. If walking on the roof is necessary to enhance line-of-site conditions, all necessary safety precautions should be followed. Refer to installation instructions for specifics. ARE THERE ANY HOUSING, CODE OR ZONING RESTRICTIONS FOR INSTALLING AN i3 MOUNT? Under most conditions, FCC rule 47 C.F.R., Section 1.4000, as amended, prohibits restrictions that impair a person having ownership or a leasehold interest in a property the ability to install, maintain, or use a fixed-wireless service antenna The rule applies to state and local laws or regulations Specific information can be found on the Federal Communications Commission website at http://www.fcc.gov/mb/facts/otard.html WHAT KIND OF PRODUCT WARRANTY COMES WITH i3 MOUNTS?
